This guy in this thread is just intelligent. You can't blame him for what people bid up.

It goes to show you that people are really lazy, don't care what they waste their money on.

Its not the guy, its the people handing over their money.

Check this guy out.

We found him by looking at the blue land Rover.

Check his "completed", " sold". You will see the same cars sold 2,3,4,5 times, even more.

In his small print there's a $500 non refundable deposit.

How many times does he get to collect that and just resell?

Not sure why so negative on a guy that is able to buy low and sell high. We all try to sell for the highest price someone is will to pay. And most buyers purchase based on appearance and certainly aren’t willing to put in the time or labor so they want the easy way, buy it finished.

Now if this particular guy is shady and dishonest, that’s against him personally, Not the business of making a profit.

I don't know if he keeps the deposit, but that Rover is certainly not worth the $5k he gets it bid up to. I wonder if it is his buddies bidding it up, or if they see the car and back out.

I have seen other cars from them in the past, and they are simply not worth anything.

Another clue is the amount of silicon on the car and in the engine bay, to polish it up.

Yeah, All that spit and polish, yet they don't bother replacing the $20 E Brake leather boot.

Yep I laugh at all these $$$$$ D2’s and the ebrake/shifter boots always look like crap!! Or the push in trays are always broken! 5min fix with some zip ties and the push in trays are working again. It’s attention to detail most people lack! They get you looking at all the goodies, and make you overlook possible bigger issues.

Great idea to have the snorkel intake facing forward. Like leaving the hatch of a submarine open when you dive!

Since SD is only about 20 miles north of the border, I wonder where these cars really came from. title search might prove interesting.
