Well, good you got it resolved. Are you still able to select Hi/Lo without energizing the solenoid by putting the truck in neutral? As a side note, I figured out that I needed to enable SSL on my server for Chrome to display inline images and now that problem is fixed as a result of this thread as well. As will happen with all browsers very shortly, embedded links, image or otherwise, need to support SSL for security purposes. Chrome already changes http to https in all embedded links. Since my server didn't have an SSL cert the images were broken links. Just in case anyone is curious ;)

 

Yes, I used a grinder to remove the tip of the solenoid so it is not in play anymore
I guess now I need to order the CDL sticker
