According to Bosch the pulley dia is 52mm. https://www.boschautoparts.com/p/100...ators-al0807n- Pulley of the OEM D2 alternator (2004) measures 52mm too. So perfect fit and nice find @Sdrows !

Thanks Discorama. Many of the posts on these forums are 10 years old or better. Most part links and numbers go nowhere.
This one might be good for a while

For those who wouldn't mind a few more options sourcing a 150a unit, and maybe save some mullah, search the Range Rover 4.6L (94-02) on the Rock Auto site. The AC Delco gold brand 150 amp units are around $150 these days. I got my Bosch unit a few years ago there for $127 shipped.

Default completed??

Hopefully the last disco repair of the year completed
Shoe horned in a group 65 diehard Platinum AGM battery.
I'm reasonably sure that Odyssey 1500 extreme killed my alternator and the alternator helped kill my battery although maybe 18 hours in a charger will bring it back to a full life. Tired of fooling with it though maybe this simpler diehard will be idiot proof. No deep cycle business to fool with.
Thanks again for all comments and suggestions.
