Default 18" tire question

For those of you that have installed 255-60-18 on your Discos, does that size fit on the spare without any modifications?

That will fit your spare tire carrier just fine.

Now that we're on the subject. Can you put a 255-60-18 on without rub on a stock suspension?

Yes. I have a buddy running that size on his '04 Disco and he's had no trouble.

He says that was actually the perfect size, that now his speedo is correct!

I don't know if I read it on this forum or on another, but this size tire may rub if the sway bar is disconnected when offroading.
