we have a 1995 Discovery 3.9 V8 in at the moment.. wondering if anyone knew how to read the fault codes from one of these? this is a pre-OBD model.. the vehicle is surging and feels like a loss of power intermittantly.. the Air flow meter has been replaced and everything else checks out ok - adjust the TPS also..

clean out all the s--t out of the throttle body first with gum cutter then call me

 

There is a display device with some LED's (OBD I?) under the passenger seat, but I don't think you will be able to get anything useful from it.

Agree with the throttle body and TPS. I would also replace the fuel filter. May also need to clean the stepper motor, as it gets carboned up.
