Default 1999 4.0 into a 2004
I have a 99 D2 with a modded engine and I'm thinking about buying a 2004 in need of an engine to swap my motor into. I know this should work no problem from my searches. Have any of you done it? Please share your stories and or thoughts.

I assume the 04 has SAI and the 99 engine does not?
Head swap?
