Yeah. I had a blower go out on my Cadillac. I narrowed it down to a blown transistor on a vacuum module. Couldn't cross the numbers and couldn't just get a replacement transistor. They would sell me the whole board for $800, though. Went to a salvage an got it for $10. I tipped the guy that pulled it $40. Sometimes things do work out...

wow you really lucked out there! i just got off the phone with Disco Mike (really nice guy and very helpful and knowledgeable) and he is referring my problem to another guy so i will keep my fingers crossed!
