2" ain't enough

Mike I put the rear springs off another Disco on the front. To be honest I am looking for about a 1/2 to 1 inch lift. I do not go off road like you but I like to play in the mud once in a while. I have 265/50/20 on now and I had to do a little cutting due to the running boards. When I added the ARB it sagged so that is why I put rear springs on the front but it is not enough. what do you suggest? I was thinking a 1/2 spacer because I think that might give me what I need. I will be adding a steel rear bumper next month due to a hit and run. Is the rear bumper on AB worth it or should I do a Craig Davis? I would like to retain my back up lights so that is where the AB is looking good. I really liked the ARB rear bumper but cannot find it any place.

In your comment regarding a few D2's that have had them off for awhile, you can in no way say they are fine without having that front brace. Even a body shop or alignment shop can make that determination with out a lazer.
If you want to run with out one, that is your call but do not suggest to others that it is OK cause you know better.

On top of the other things mentioned in this thread, if you're going to 3", you should start thinking about eliminating the rotoflex coupler by switching to a u-joint rear drive shaft.
At 3", the rotoflex is still an option, but you'll find that you're tearing them up a lot more frequently. I've gone through 3 since installing my 3" lift in early 2011, but then I may wheel my truck a little harder than most too...

Y-pipe had a leak tried re-welding (multiple times, keep breaking loose) ended up replacing it. True. Originally, they were a bitch to get off.
