If it ain't broken, don't fix it
Disco I 1997, 150K. Run pretty good until I decided to fix it
This is the story. About two months ago the check engine light came on. I did check the codes and It had to do with the rear passenger side O2 sensor. The car kept running just as good. Two weeks ago, while the car was warm, I went to start it and it would crank and misfire until finally it started. It was only one event and run with no problems the rest of the week. So decided that it was time to change the O2 sensors and the crank sensor since I suspected this was the cause of the problem. For some reason I got two O2 sensors that fit and and two others that are for a newer model. (waiting for the replacement)
I went ahead and replaced the two rear O2 sensors and the crank sensor, and the ignition wires or spark plugs cables (I had replaced the spark plugs about a year ago) and now the darn thing has a problem to start every time it is warm. The codes are P1193 and P1177. Has somebody had that combo? Any suggestions? Thanks

Here are what the codes mean. I'm not exactly sure what they mean but it looks like it has something to do with the 02 sensors that you replaced. Did you buy the OEM sensors. Sorry Im not much help, hopefully someone else will jump in
P1193 Land Rover HO2S Heater Circuit Inferred Open Circuit, Downstream Sensors
P1177 Land Rover FMFR Correction At maximum Negative Value

Vapor lock! Just kidding. From what I understand it is generaly advised to replace all four O2 sensors at once (which it sounds like you were trying to do). Malmberg thank you for reading the codes. If it was me I'd wait till I got the final 2 O2 sensors, install them, clear the codes and then give it a shot.
Where did you get your sensors from?

Where did you get you O2 sensors from? If they are the correct O2 sensors you should not have any problems I'm thinking you got the wrong ones.
For your misfires as spike said new wires (magnacors or kingsborne) and plugs are what you need.

Spike, I replaced the crank sensor because I've read here that they fail and produce that problem for starting. I did not know that it was not a DI problem, I thought it was all of them. I guess I am going to backtrack my steps starting by the wires and testing at every step to see if I can find the problem. I got all the old parts still.
