Default 2000 D2 with SLS- Shock and spring replacement questions

Hi all,

I have a 2000 D2 with ACE and SLS with 110K km on it. The front springs are stock and noticeably sagging. I want to replace the front springs and the shocks all around and have a couple questions.

I am looking to go with the OME Medium front springs from Lucky 8 and the OME nitrocharger shocks on all four corners. The OME springs are said to be about a 1.5" lift over stock. Will it be OK to run these on the front, leaving the stock air springs in the rear (both rear bags were replaced less than 12 months ago)? Will there be a ride height difference between the front and rear or will the SLS compensate? Will I need to get spacers for the rear to make up the difference?

I don't really want to do the rear spring retrofit. The SLS system and rear bags are working fine.

What other options do I have? Should I just replace the front springs with OEM units?

you can get different springs. are you looking to lift the truck? you can get spacers for the SLS.

they sat a little low right off the lot in the front, you may find it just evens it all out.....if not spacers and longer shocks would be easiest for the rear.

I have the OME Med springs up front with rear air SLS. Nitro charged OME shocks all the way around. I tricked the height sensors by putting 1" of metal water pipe straping. The pipe straping has 1" inch holes on center. Just add an additional bolt to hold it verticle on the rear arm member. I've had them installed for over a year now. Toddco Suspension was going to make some CND's pieces for me but this works fine and was free. As I just cut some extra off a pipe in our basement.
My rover measures within a 1\4" all the way around from the wheel well arches to the ground.
