Default 2000 Disco 2 - Tires and Lift Question

I am looking to upgrade my disco 2 a bit and need some advice. I would like a little bit bigger tire and possibly lift the truck no more than 2". From what I have read it looks like an Emu body lift and possibly 255/75/16's? Just want something more aggressive looking without having to do major modifications. Thoughts?

Default RE: 2000 Disco 2 - Tires and Lift Question

A lift is easy and a very common thing to do on D2's. One thing to consider of course is gas mileage, if you want a good looking truck, you can do the lift and install 265/75/16's but you can loose up to 1 1/2 MPG overall.
OME suspensions are the way to go, check out the write up on this web site https://www.expeditionexchange.com/ome/indexsprings.htm
Do you paln on a HD front bumper and or winch. if so this will be a consideration when picking the coils, I install the 751 coil with OME HD shocks in the front of my D2 and run the 265's.
