Default 2000 Disco II

My wife called Friday and told me that the disco was leaking antifreeze into the passenger compartment. I was working on the boat all weekend so I did not get a chance to take a look at it. My first instinct was a heater core, after looking through the posts I did not see any threads on here in regards to heater core. Could I be barking up the wrong tree, I just wonder @ 96K if I have a headgasket problem? Does not seem to be smoking but I will take a better look this evening?

Also if it is a heater core how tough of a job would this be, I found the part for about $100.

Thanks in advance

Double check it to make sure it's coolant. You're in Knoxville? I'm just east of you. With all the rain we've had, there's a possibility the sunroof drain is plugged and running down the pillar to your floor. (common problem) At 96kmi, I doubt it would be the heater core, but I could be wrong. Hopefully it's not. Download the Rave manual and you'll see the heater core is a project! (Unless someone knows a shortcut)

Is the carport wet with water or a sweet/oily smelling fluid.
Head gaskets won't cause this to happen.
