Thanks James, I feel like I had read that before. The other codes seem to stem from a SAI problem of some sort. I poked around for a little bit earlier checking hose connections and what not, but had to come back in and check the RAVE manual. Need to familiarize myself with what it is that i'm looking at (potentially further breaking) before I go taking it apart.

Any good staring points for SAI fixes, and links/stickys/direction for starting the tres amigos undertaking would be appreciated.

Start here for the three amigos

Excellent write up with super easy directions/pictures to follow you through the whole thing.

Is your SAI making any funky noises? Can you hear it upon a cold start up?

That manual is gonna be real helpful, thanks for the link!

The engine runs a little loud as it is, but is there a certain sound I should be listening for the SAI? The hoses all seem to be connected so it's the dummy fix unfortunately.

Your SAI pump should sound like a hair dryer upon a cold start up. Pop the hood and have someone crank it for you and listen to the SAI. If there is no sound, then you probably have a bad SAI altogether. If you hear the hair dryer blowing sound, the next thing to do would probably be to clean the filter inside the SAI.

Well not hearing a particular hairdryer sound, I did however notice these black and yellow wires that are disconnected on the passenger side. There is one on the driver side that attachs through the hood into the dash(?) any ideas what this may be for?

Aslo where is the SAI filter located? If I can find it I can clean it. I apologize for all the questions. I'm a very novice mechanic but an avid DIY'er, I've used the rave manual to identify all the parts of the SAI system, and found another diagram as well.

Again thanks for the help

Here is the SAI diagram for anybody (less-than pros) else that might find this thread and need a quick map.
