Default 2000 Disco sluggish and hard to start

I have had my Disco for almost four years now and love it. It had 60K on it when I bought it and I am now at 115K with no problems till recently. Engine light said that #1 and #2 banks were running lean so I replaced the fuel pump with an aftermarket one that puts out 70 to 95 psi and 50 gph hour, so I don't think that is the problem now. However, if I let her sit more than 30 minutes or so, she doesn't want to start until the third or fourth try. She is also alittle sluggish from idle to about 1500, then she gets in the groove accelerates without a problem. I had the dealer check it out before I replaced the pump and was told that my cats were clogged because you would try to go, the engine would rev up and nothing would happen. Now, that problem is fixed, she goes just fine. Would my cats cause the hard start and sluggish takeoff? Thanks

Yes the motor could not pull the fuel air mix in, or get rid of it.
