got a question about the 2000 roof rails. Are they aluminum covered in plastic or what. They look faded and was wanting them to be painted or powdercoated or swapped for a set of the 04 ones. Any thoughts or info?

They're some kind of coated aluminum for sure.

 

thats what I was thinking, I didn't want to sandblast them then bake em n be up the creek without a paddle
