2001 D2 is bogging down with moderate to full throttle
#21
UPDATE: Got it fixed. I pulled the idle speed control, cleaned and checked it,...seemed to be OK. Was suspicious of the MAF since a well meaning friend had sprayed Starting fluid spray into the intake/MAF the night before things began to deteriorate dramatically. (thinking that might have been the final death blow to a marginal MAF)
Found a new Bosch MAF for $105 locally,...and figured it was the most likely candiate,..and that I could sell it quickly for what I gave for it if it turned out NOT to be the problem.
Plugged it in,.............and WOW,......This sucker runs GREAT now,......MUCH stronger truck than my last 2002 disco I had a few years ago and runs far better than it did before I did the head gaskets last month......total transformation.
Thanks to all of you who assisted and had words of encouragement During my head gasket job and while trouble shooting this poor running issue.
