Wipers work but one isnt touching windshield
On the Driver's side, or Left hand side... The wiper arm actually isnt hitting the windshield at all, ive cleared all ice from around the wiper arm, checked the spring inside, cant figure out why this is happening. One thing ive noticed tho is there is some play when i move the wiper arm around on the pin that holds it to the truck, could it be that i need to tighten that bolt up? Is there a way to adjust this or would i have to get a newer arm that isnt shot?
Pull the pivot cover, realign your wiper on the windshield and tighten the bolt with a socket.
Mike
so the little button would come off, how would i realign the wiper?

You realign the wiper arm buy moving it to where it needs to be, then using a 10mm socket tighten the nut.
Once you loosen the nut you can move the wiper arm a full sweep of the glass by hand.

Then I would look to see if the spring is broken, if you need to drive it you can switch the right hand wiper arm for the left hand one until you can buy a new wiper arm.
Assuming that tightening the nut doesnt not fix it, and I do not think it will.
Let us know how you make out.

After tightening the nut down its better but still not exactly perfect... I neew new blades I cant be sure if theyve ever beenreplaced before...
