Hi,
Can someone advise pls. My driver side brake disc got broken today (2001 disco V8), my technician said the last guy that worked on it didn't tighten the bolts well. My problem is that when I tried to search for the disc on ebay, i saw some vented and some are not, what is the difference?
where in the UK is best and cheap to get the spare parts from?
A quick response will be appreciated.

 

Basically vented disc's have holes to remove heat and solid disc's to not.
You will need to replace both fronts at the same time, when it comes to brakes you must do an entire axle, not just one side.
I do not know which the DII has, nor do I know where is a good place to buy parts in the UK as I am in the States.
You can use either.
