2001 Disco II Rear Wheel Noise
Just put new coil packs in my disco, she's been laid up for a couple of months. Coil packs were a bitch by the way. Anyway, just before I took her off the road, I noticed a slight rubbing noise coming from the rear wheels while driving. After I put the coil packs in I took her for a little drive to see how she'd run and noticed the rubbing noise from the rear
was louder than before. Decided to go ahead and put new brake pads
on on the way around, but that did not take care of the noise. Jacked her
up and turned each rear wheel and lo and behold, I could hear the rubbing noise. The sound is definitely metallic, but rubbing not squealing. Can't see anything that looks like it rubbing, so Rotors, Calipers or something else? Please let it be something simple after the coils!! Any advice is appreciated. Thank you
