Default 2001 Discovery Sunroof Motor Testing

I have a 2001 Land Rover Discovery SE
Can you tell me which wires I can supply power to test the Sunroof motors.
If that's possible without it being connected to the switch or truck.

Thanks in advance

Judging from your picture the brown and red power the motor and the other 2 are signals to the sunroof controller from the encoder. The Rave doesn't really help, it shows the ground (black) and 3 colors going to the sunroof controller.

I would use a 9v battery incase the sunroof controller sends it lower voltage, and you have less chance of frying it if it tries to pull too much current. But it does say 12v on it.
