2002 D2 Numerous Codes
Using icarsoft scanner, trying to pass smog.
Getting canister purge test incomplete
catalytic converter incomplete
1 fault code P1590 and when we go into the ABS system the codes go off
0180– Ecuador internal valve replay fault
0310-RE inlet valve open circuit
0320- rr outlet Valve open circuit
0410- pump relay open circuit
0620-left sensor electrical failure
0640-front left sensor electrical failure
0680-RR sensor electrical failure
0710 RR inlet shortly battery
0720 RR outlet valve short to battery
0810-right sensor signal erratic
0A01-pump relay drive short to output driver
0D10-engine speed input signal intermittent or missing
Hoping you have an easy fix or suggestion for this combo of codes. Been reading these post for years(have a 2001 and 2002) and am finally having to join and ask for help
Anyone, anything? Disco Mike?
Thanks
Cindy

Had this D2 for about 7 years. Run like a beast, dependable to get me anywhere and quickly. Have had no problem passing smog in the past. Of course they told me to drive it and come back since they could ready smog module. That was a few hundred miles ago. 3 amigos are on but no check engine light. Wheel sensors are clean and all pads still good. Battery terminals are clean with correct voltage. I was just hoping someone might have had a similar issue. It seems that the ABS issues (though there don’t seem to be any)are throwing P1590 code that keeps it from passing smog. Never had a problem maintaining or repairing before but with so many codes not sure where to start. Maybe it’s time to part them both out.Thank you for your reply
if you have a dependable good running disco 2, I would start with the 3 A's. Get them fixed then tackle the rest. plenty info on this board. do a search. If you have two discos, you could swap parts as needed.......
you cant tell if wheel sensors work by being 'clean.' They are buried in the hubs. The connectors can be corroded. the wires can be faulty. There are short wire sensors, and long wire sensors.
also, you may want a scanner specific to land rover discovery.....
depends on what time or $$ you want to invest. Before you part them, put some pics up here in your thread. maybe someone will take them off your hands......

Thank you. I do have a Land Rover specific scanner from Atlantic. British
an icar soft and the workshop manual. As of this evening we have the 2001 with no 3 amigos or any codes so now with all the extra time due to stay in orders I can concentrate on the 2002. I have learned so much from this forum over the years and always check here when researching you guys are the best

Welcome to the forum Cindy.
For starters... Check if your battery is fully charged without engine running, check the battery connections are tight with no frayed wires/cables, and check for blown fuses in the engine bay and under the steering wheel.
Then clear the codes, go for a ride and check for codes again. Report back what you find.
