I have had my truck sitting outside for about 15 months been having trouble with it overheating.. i recently decided to put it in the garage when turning it on i realized that i could not accelerate but when i tried to reverse the front tire seemed to drag along... on the dash i see the decline picture shown and the blinking of M AND S...

PLEASE ADVISE I CANT AFFORD TAKING IT TO THE SHOP...

First, take your battery out and have it tested and fully charged , reinstall and see what happens.

Default Def your battery

My batt went downhill almost overnight. I jumped it and got the flashing M and S. Basically a safety function of the trans ecu when the voltage is too low. I let mine run for about 10 min, shut it off and immediately restarted it and it was gone. Drove it home, tested the batt and replaced it.

Things can seize up over time, how ever Mike makes a very good point about your battery issue with the m & s lights. Now for the other part you need to inspect all drive line components and grease everything and then start working it slowly to get grease coating things up then re grease and go from there. Remember that all the fluids will settle over time that's part of the reason why its bad for vehicles to sit for extended periods of time.
