Default 2003-2004 Oil Separator Question

I have a question about the separator on an 04 Disco. I have about 96k on it and it is using more oil than it should. I pulled the intake boot off and it is very clearly pulling oil in from the drivers side valve cover. I pulled the hose off the passengers valve cover and for 03 and 04 the separator is sealed in the valve cover and unable to be removed (unlike earlier D2s) My question is has anyone removed there's and replaced it or just removed it and installed a regular PCV valve in the hose? I have also sprayed carb cleaner in the small hole and it is still stopped up.

Bump - Anyone? Bueller?

Edit - I just got off the phone with Atlantic British and that piece (metal with the hole in it) comes out. You may have to spray carb cleaner to loosen it up. The oil separator goes in once removed.

I have taken the valve cover off, removed the separator and added an inline PCV valve from Fram. Works great.

I have never tried to remove the small housing and would have never imagined it remove able.
