Bank 1 is the bank with the number 1 cylinder. That's driver side on yours.

Well, I changes the Bank 1, Sensor 1 O2 Sensor and the MAF about a week ago and the codes went away. Today the truck was idling rough when I would stop at a traffic light. Now I've got some new codes and a few of the same. Any thoughts as to what to do next?

Codes are as follows in the order they appear:

1. P0171 - system too lean Bank 1
2. P1174 - Lambda control adaption fault bank Last occurrence maximum signal
3. P1171 - system too lean Bank 1 Sensor 1
4. Po130 - Bank 1 sensor 1

Once I cleared those codes within about 2-3 minutes I got the following code:
P0130 - bank 1, sensor 1.

Please Help!

I suspected that. The O2 sensors are working properly (switching voltage .9 to .1) however the short term / long term fuel trim are up around 25. I suspect I am getting "un-metered" air into the system somewhere.

Going back to my original suspicion, is there a way to check the evap valve? Is this valve normally open or closed?

I just got done building a smoke machine to perform a smoke test on the system. I will keep you posted as to my finds.

If anyone is interested in an inexpensive way to test for vac leaks, here is a good source.

OK, here it the update on the finds of the P0171 code cure.

I performed a smoke test and found a bunch of smoke pouring out from what appeared to be my intake valley pan gasket. So before I pulled the lower portion of my intake I decided to check the lower half of the intke with the smoker by making a special adaptor plate by using the upper intake gasket as a template. (see photo)

This revealed that I had multiple o-ring leaks at my fuel injectors. The cure was a rebuild kit I found on e-bay (Mr. Injector).

So I put it all back together and whoola, no more codes and it runs like a champ!
