it would be interesting to see how they get into it, with the lock disconnected.

 

The service guy I spoke with knows very little about discos I think.
I'm going to be sure to get all the info from the actual tech.

The issue with my ignition is not that it is sticking but that it rotates all the way around unless it is in just the right position.

I'm sure some a LR built a back door into the security system for dealer in case this happened. special code or remote ?

I would think someone would have said if this .20 piece breaks how are we going to get in?

 

They wouldn't tell me how they got in to the truck. $280 in labor was the total.
I got there to pick it up and they had the ignition switch out of the car and the tech was working on it with a flashlight hanging out of his mouth. After I told them not to work on it. I clearly asked for an estimate for the replacement work.

Anyway, I got it back, let the games begin.
