My 2003 disco has 2 warning lights on the dash that blink at the same time. Also I just noticed a small trany leak. The lights are the sport and manuel mode lights. I also learned from this forum that my vin # falls in the bad oil pump range.

 

The S & M lighs blink like that indicating that your battery voltage is low. Could be your battery is bad or your alternator could be bad and not charging the battery properly. Go to an auto parts store and have them test your battery. I bet that your battery needs replaced.

 

I think you were dead on about the low battery. I tried to start it up.....completely dead.I have not checked the battery yet. I have a trans question, it just started leaking. Is there a problematic seal or something that will usually go bad? Is there a spot to check first. I'am a great carpenter but a lousy mechanic. Thanks again, Chris.

 

You really need to read your owners manual so you know what your truck is all about, all your warning lights are described in detail.
As for your fluid leak, once you read how to check and fill the tranny, you might want to then do it before your toast it.
