2004 Land Rover Discovery SE

Here's one to get you started. Looks like a Rover guy with a DI in the background...

Rob: I use a guy by the Purdy Bridge. It is a place called Autowaun. They work on Rovers and BMWs. There are 2 people there. I trust Fred, only ….. Do you live in Gig Harbor?

Interesting, I like keeping track of where Rover mechanics around the state, just in case something happens while I'm out and about

I actually live up in Renton, but I work down in Lacey so I pass by Hwy 16 every day.

Whether you choose SE7 or HSE7, it's going to have rear air suspension. All the 7 seat DII's have rear air suspension. And just to give you a price guide, I paid $6600 for my '03 SE in '08, so you should be able to get an '04 nowadays for less than $10k.

I'm looking to sell my 03 SE...do you need the 7 passenger seating? It's been babied I can tell you that...but it has not had the HGs done that I know of (got it at 80k, at 100k now). And like many have said, no CDL, though it's never stranded me (full disclosure: it's been on a trail twice, fwiw). Like to get about $7k for it, have put $3k and easily 200 hours in it in the last year, everything done myself (read: a heck of a lot of work).

But wait you're in WA...NM...lol, road trip anyone? :P

.

I have an 03 se7 and it doesn't have air suspension. I'm the second owner, can anyone verify the above quote is correct?

It's possible that the first owner replaced them with springs. But I haven't heard of all SE7's having rear air suspension.

My 2004 SE7 does not have air and I am sure it was not changed. I am pretty sure in 2004 the air suspension was standard on the HSE and an option on the SE, (not available on the S) and it did not matter about the rear seat package. I have the brochure at home that lists this. I am not sure about earlier model years.

As far as I know all 7 passenger Discos came with air suspension as part of the package and was optional on the 5 passenger models. The only SE7's that I have seen without the air suspension were conversions done after it left the factory.
