I see Crutchfield has 4 different Jensen units that fit our trucks... Which one are you talking about?

I would be interested in the Pioneer models if they were not priced like solid gold bit coins.

I got the Boss 9 inch unit - not Jensen. I looked at the pioneers and Jensens but they were sold out or more than I wanted to spend so I went with the budget Boss. It’s got a low res screen but for what I use it for, it is more than sufficient. I did buy it from Crutchfield with some specific kits for the Disco 2. Their phone support is really good and is based out of Virginia.

I got a Jensen unit for a couple hundred, crurchfield support is awesome. I had an usual wiring nuance on my 911 and it took a great deal of effort but we worked it out together.

just to close this one out, it looks like replacing the drivers side upstream O2 sensor took care of my misfires. Go figure!

I installed the Jensen VX7012. It is no longer available at Crutchfield, but you can get it on Amazon.

Install write up is here. It is still working fine.

Like what you did cvhyatt. Had this done about a month ago along with JL Audio amp and speakers. I think we are all nuts but the more of us that do this the less wacky it sounds !

On the docket for today: new hoses, radiator and inline thermostat. Wish me luck!
