Default 2004 disco wont start

Sooo. The neverending love-hate relationship with my beloved Disco. 1 week ago I went to start my Disco and the battery was totally dead. Dont know why. I did have the hood open due to tryng to catch a rat that has made a home on my block. Put a poison trap there. When AAA came out and did get some juice into the battery it still would not start. It sounds as though the truck is not getting enough fuel. It does try to turn over but luls. After trying to turn it over the hazard lights came on and would not shut off until the battery died again. Could this be the alarm system? Help!!!!!

Get the battery tested. If it’s lower than 12.0v your LR will do weird things. It could be a bad alternator, bad battery, bad terminal connections, or maybe the rat chewed on wires under the fuse box under the hood.

I looked at the wiring and they look intact. Replaced the battery and still wont start. Could this be the alarm system and if so is there any way to bypass/disassemble the alarm system and just run the truck without it
