Can't wait to get this thing offroad ready. Get the diff lock, some BFG A/T's on there, snorkel and a winch so I can go it alone when I want. I know the CDL is probably the lowest priority to these other 3 bits of kit but by far the biggest **** of a job. Will be loving it.

snorkel should be lowest priority, make sure you get a ****** block for your winch build yourself a little recovery kit with a ******, some jate rings or d rings, tree strap, recovery strap.

Snorkel is wayyy less of a priority on a V8 then a CDL. Get AAA and lockers before you get a snorkel. Snorkels are for looks on V8s.

In a V8 I'd go lockers before snorkels. A snorkel doesn't do much when your engine can't be underwater.

i have had my engine under water plenty of times. if i didnt have my snorkel it would have became hydrolocked by now. I have been high centered in icy water for 30 mins i have been high centered in muddy water for 5 hours. both times the snorkel saved the engine. lockers would have done nothing. $300 snorkel or $1700 in lockers...

That does surprise me quite a bit. V8s and their ECUs don't like water.

Noted. How do I ensure this then? Wouldn't want that badger getting soaked.
