I last saw this vehicle posted back around March and then disappeared. I figured they sold it, but now I see its come back today. They've actually lowered the price from what I remember first seeing it.

Again, just looking for consent from the group that I am out of my mind. Or just maybe, this could be something to consider haggling over.
If he confirmed all work is true, it is clean when scanned by obdII and ABS, no rust issues, or normal, I would value it at 12,000-13,000. That is what it would cost for you to find a project and have a motor thrown in yourself.

edit: Also, says new radiator and H2O pump in late 2016. Which is odd if the new engine was within 2,000 miles. This seems like a truck with overheating issues. Also, you'd put a new water pump on with a new engine, so if they didn't do that, what else did they skimp on? The headliner is not a "black unit" it is simply painted black or they used black material. You would not put a new headliner in either new or used, you'd refurbish.

someone also made the point they did a Lorne of work to return it to bone stock. For that money I would want an engine with some upgrades.

You have to figure that most any stock D2 up for sale at this point is because it is in imminent need of some major deferred maintenance.

Otherwise why would you sell?

There are great one's out there that will be up soon.

Yes, 2x. Nice pictures but the driver side seat was not totally in the shot where they all fail in that area. Its not rust free. I think thats the color of rust. If its rusted there, it could be everywhere.

Appreciate the comments, and either confirming my thoughts or slapping some sense in me.

As I've mentioned, I've been trolling this disco for months, and I remember from past posts the person mentioned they had picked up a 110, and needed to unload the disco. I have no doubt they're trying to recoup as much of the costs as possible.

It is Washington DC. Did you actually expect something from there or the vicinity to a properly priced good value? Obviously the owner works for one of the beltway bandits that got its funding cut.

Would someone like me to take a hard look at this example? I'm in Stafford, VA. and currently one of those bandits you speak of...

If you are one of the Beltway bandits that makes good things for our troops you are okay in my book.
If you are one of the bandits who does studies like putting shrimp on treadmills.....
