Clean, but I figure you'll be better off not mounting your solenoid box right in front of the fan.

As explained in the winch thread, the solenoid box only covers a tiny amount of the fan blade area. I reckon that 90% of the box sits in front of the fan motor and hub and any effect on the fans performance will be negligible.

Better than mounting it somewhere where it might obscure the radiator!
