OK,
can't find any set of wheels Craigslist that will get back to us.
So what rims are interexchangeable with our discos II?
Would I be committing a crime for using some toyota rims on a LR?

found these for $200

Not that much larger than stock. 29.85 inches. Give or take. But like I said. The wheel weight is significant.

I don't know offsets or bore or space on those Toyota wheel.

D2 bolt pattern is 5x120 and not too may other mfgs. wheels will fit. Some 16" BMW wheels supposedly fit. Any salvage yards near you? Good if you could repair flat to buy some time and get some D2 wheel, the 16'"s offer a better selection of tires and prices more reasonable than 18".

I picked up a set of 16" wheels for $30 a wheel a while back on eBay. It looks like they've gone up a bit since, but you might keep an eye out for them.

They'll fit, but you'll need the lug nuts too. Some also say you need the hub-centric ring adapters. I don't have the link any more, but they're on eBay. Which 16s? The 99-02 or the 03-04?

Yea, those are the 99-02 style. I expected so, the 03-04 are a little harder to come by. That's a fair deal. I'd probably offer the guy 150 and see if he'll meet in the middle. I still prefer the 16s for tire choice and price, but I've seen 19s and 20s mounted and they look pretty good.
