I have a 3 inch suspension and 2 inch body lift and only needed to replace the front driveshaft. 98 Disco. I have 33x12.50x15 all terrains, even with all that lift they still scrub a little on the fenders when the goin gets tough.
What lift did you get? RTE 2"? RTE 3"? OME lift?

If you are talking about that size tire on a old D1, you will need to be looking at new diffs, replacing the 2 spider gear stock with 4 or you will gernade you diff.

Mike, could you please elaborate on this spider gear, or point me in the right direction to learn more about replacing it

The lift was on it when i bought it but I have a 96 Disco that is completely stock that I have compared it to. It looks as if everything is stock on my lifted 98 except for the front driveshaft. I have put thousands of miles on it with my 33's on and off road and haven't had a problem with my diff's yet, besides replacing the rear pinion seal due to a clogged vent tube. The truck has a set of procomp shocks.
