Default 3 Amigos but T/C Still Works?

So I saw a little glimmer of light coming out of the ABS light and took the instrument cluster apart.

Found this hot mess... rtv over the lights

Wierd thing is, I went offroading yesterday since it's fairly flat where we go. I decided against better wisdom to push it and went up a few 45 degree loose sand inclines and when the tires would start spinning I could feel the TC working pulsing the brakes about. My buddy said multiple times that day he saw it working... I've also felt the ABS kick on before in it and I'm assuming with the RTV like this, the lights have been on since I've owned it (about a month).

I just think it's wierd because I read on here if they are on, TC is dead. I'm thinking this isn't true. The only time I seemed to get stuck was when I was teetering on two opposite tires. I could feel it lurching, but never grabbed.

Do you have any warning or check engine lights on, if so what are the fault code numbers?

I've seen the "black tape" over the light trick, but filling up the hole with RTV is a new "fix" to me. Kinda reminds me of the repair of a fiber optic line with a butt connector I saw once (hi grade stereo install)

I had a similar problem with my 3 amigos lights coming on and I still pushed my Disco off road, the TC and ABS still worked perfectly fine. The HDC wouldn't engage but I rarely ever used it other than to see if it still works. Fortunately I fixed my 3 amigo issue with new rotors/pads/fluid and I'm still getting ready to put new switches into the module with new seals from Falcon Works.

Point is, with my lights on, most of the system still functioned.

The only OBDII code I get related to the ABS/TC system is the standard 1592.
