Hello crew-

I've been putting off my brake pad replacement for too long and now my indie says that my amigos are a result of the pad thickness (or in my case thin-ness)

My question is this: When I do the task myself this weekend, will my amigos go away? or do i need to have it reset with testbook or something?

Some codes clear themselves, some do not. Do your amigos come on immediately when starting the car, or do they come on only after driving for a bit?

 

If the brake pads need replacing, replace them. If the Amigos are gone afterward, great! If not, we are here for you.

 

My 3 amigos are intermittent. Sometimes I won't hear from them in a while other times they will pop up when I hit the brakes. When I stop the engine and re-start they do not come back on until a couple days later, sometimes a few weeks later.

 

Makes complete sense to me Lord..HAHA! Thanks...also, mine did the same as yours elrocha, but then stayed on and yes, they are on immediately upon start-up now jafir.
