Default 3 amigos tested w/todays NY weather

I had a vistor from the 3 amgios about 3 months ago. That day I pulled off my front tires and was in need of changing asap, which I did that day. The lights of course still stayed on but with todays snow fall I was able to see what was working and what wasn't. The ABS even though the light is lit works fine but the Traction Control isn't working at all and the Hill Decent I haven't test. Based on the fact that the abs is working and traction is not my first thought was speed senor but want the opinions of those with more knowledge than me. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks guy

What you have described is very normal when there is no real failure of the ABS system. When there is a true failure of an ABS part the ABS won't pulsate, in your case, your ECU picked up a little glitch and when you have the codes read and cleared the lights will most likely will stay off.
For what it is worth, mine is doing the same thing right now.

Thanks guys... but the fact that the Traction Control isn't working as I can spin my tires on the snowy ice wouldn't that indicate a problem somewhere or would reseting the codes correct that?

Thanks again

No, the ETC and HDC will not work when the trio is on.

I'm sure this has been discussed before but you would think that there would be some way to manually reset them by unplugging something, etc.I wish I could get a hacker to bang out a reader/reset app to run through a laptop but the programmers that work for me aren't that good ...

Just call around and see if you can find a lap top type scanner like an Auto Logic scanner or something similar.
