Hmmm after all this, I am thinking of switching back to the 3" lift and buy a GBR shaft with extended brake and ABS lines. Thanks a lot!

I'd run RTE coils and fox shocks, new front shaft and extend brake lines/ABS lines. Pull the front support beneath front shaft and pick up an extended watts linkage

I ran 3.5" with a stock front driveshaft, abs lines, and brake lines, along with sway bar disconnects. The stock driveshaft was fine, but the Universal's did wear out pretty quickly due to it operating at a totally new angle. I got a stock replacement from lucky 8 and never had a problem. Brake lines were *just* long enough, so as everyone has said before me replacing those is a good idea. At full flex mine were like a banjo string. If you're only going to street drive then stockers are fine. Never had a problem with the ABS lines, but I believe I did unclip them or something from the frame.
