Default 3" OME tire size????

i KNOW i wanna go with a 3" OME, and originally i planned on getting 16" wheels with 285/75/16's. i'm kinda leaning toward keeping my stock 18" hurricanes now though so....

my question is :

what are my options for tires if i keep the stock wheels? i was looking at a 305/65/18 which is 33.7x12.2x18... is that tire too big for a 3" OME

go to big , and you'll start to break halfshafts and CV joints.

I am running a 275/65R18E on my stock 18's and have the 3in OME lift. This is about a 32.5in tire. I have NOT rubbed once and I have tried very hard to bend this truck in every direction.

I honestly don't think you would want to go any bigger than that. Look at my gallery updates for several pictures since I got these tires and suspension.

Let me know if you have any more questions about this setup.

P.S. - I have the parts #'s in my sig.
