Really? I have been running these springs for years and did not change the spring seats. I have had no issues at all.

Here is a pic of my DiscoII. OME 751's in the front and SLS Spacers in the rear. I'm running General Grabbers in 255/70/16...I had them before the lift. If I had to do it again, I would get the DuraTrac's in 265 or 285 to fill in the wheel wells.

Disco 1 springs are ground flat both top and bottom, hence the spring seat is flat, disco 2 front springs are not flat on the bottom end, the last bit of the coil hangs in a key way in the spring seat.

Perfect. Thanks for the info. I installed the TF 3" lift Friday night. It looks and handles great, but I had to remove the cross-member. It will go right back in as soon as I have a chance to cut some scrap steel into a set of spacers.

LIFT ARRIVED TODAY! 2" medium duty springs with the sport shocks....It's like friggin' Christmas I am lucky that ARB is literally less than 15 minutes from my house....It'll be a couple weeks before I get tires, so the llift will be collecting dust for a little while but I'll be sure to post pics when it's all said and done. Thanks everyone for the input
