Almost finished working up a new clock unit using a cheap ebay digital clock and 4 port usb charger. Printing another low quality test print that's still taking 4hrs lol. Looks like I'll be in this project about $15 including filament.

Anything further with this? Looking over my cover it's gonna take more work than it might be worth to fix.

Same. I hit a speed bump and it sounds like the dash is going to fall to the floorboards. I tried to mock it up in CAD but my skills are severely lacking. I'd be happy with sharp square edges even.

The gauge binnacle is two pieces, a front switch panel and a top cover. Which one do you need? Both are likely to be way more expensive as a printed part than just getting one from one of the breakers unless you have your own printer, and then you would need to print it out of a UV resistant plastic due to the sun exposure.

Printing it is no problem, I've been doing it a few years now, I just suck at CAD! At the base of the binnacle on the front it's being held in place with two wood screws and at the back of it towards the windshield it's just flapping in the breeze.

Same here. I'd be very interested in this binnacle project. Used ones I can find run near $200 and I'd rather put that toward a nanocom.

If you would be willing to post the 2 pieces seperately that'd be amazing. At least the upper portion is stamped PC + ABS which is available for 3d printing. This could also be the bump my buddy needs to get his resin printer!

I was thinking about asking my son if he could even design/print some replacement clips for the front portion. It's his vehicle that we're fixing up, so he may be motivated to do it.

Clip/sand the old ones off and use adhesive to attach new ones...

Picture below from the web, ours are tan, and both snapped.

I used some 3m specialty adhesive to glue together the broken bits at the front where it attaches with two screws. It isn't beautiful, but it works until we can find an affordable replacement option.
