Do all of the 4.6L Disco II have secondary air injection? If not which models don't have it, if I remove mine it looks like I'll have to source an ECU from a model without it.

 

You can get 4.6 engine with and with out secondary air, depending on the state and the emission standards that needed to be met.
I had a long conversation with some one resently and if you swap out, you have to also replace one other component other then the ECU, if I remember right I believe it is the Body ECU, I can check and see if you get that far.

 

I'd appreciate knowing. May buy a parts truck soon and getting one of the right year would be nice.
