85 miles on half a tank of gas
Always felt like my gas mileage wasn't the best so I got it to exactly half and drove until it was nearing the end of the red mark with the light on. Trip meter said right at 85 miles. Anyone have an idea of how many gallons I would have used? It seems cars are never consistent when empty is empty, my 540i ran forever at E. but I don't know about this Disco.
Also, all my driving was 40mph or slower. Lots of driving around campus and short drives. Also spent one day offroading.

Hm so on about 11 gallons thats a tad over 7mpg. . .
I mean I know short drives putting around in traffic and offroading can't help but jeez that's not too good. Replaced both upstream 02 sensors a couple months ago, but I still have a check engine light on, think it's for my MAF.

Divide the miles by the gallons of gas bought.
Do this three times in a row to get a average of your MPG, you must fill it each time to get a accurate number.
I have a app on my phone that I use, it is called "MPG Tracker", it is free.
First, never drive you Disco till the red light comes on, all you are doing is burning up you fuel pump.
As for mileage, the gas gauge is as inaccurate as our temp gauge. If you want to measure your mileage, do it the old fashion way, fill up the tank, drive for a couple hundred miles, fill up and divide the mileage by the number of gallons used, this is not rocket science.
By the way, quit guess or always assuming your MAF is at fault, all you are doing is spending money on parts not needed or indicated by a fault code.
