Default 95 Disco Driveshafts

So, took yesterday off to rebuild my driveshafts. This is a 95 D1 5 spd. I have just 2 u-joints on the front drive (No double cardon) and 1 on the rear with the roto-flex. I pulled the driveshafts and took them to the auto repair shop and walked in to see them reorienting the front u-joints by pulling the slip shaft so the u-joints 'line up.' The cd I have shows the front driveshaft 'phased' for greater angulation. I took the driveshaft back and he tried to put it back but now its vibrating.
-anyone have a picture of the orientation of the u-joints? The manual just shows what appears to be 45 degree but it might be 90 degrees

-Am I screwed and needing to get it balanced? If I can at least verify the orientation of the u-joints, that would help
-

The yokes are 45 degrees off set, but if the shaft has been pulled apart and you don't know which way they were turned, I'd advise having it balanced.

That is what I feared. I also had problems getting my rotoflex to be in the 'corect plane'. I took it out this morning and found a ball bearing that seem to be causing it not to fully seat on the shaft. It was behind the bearing. Am I missing something there?

I'm not sure where you're saying the ball bearing was.

The ball bearing was in the end of the driveshaft, behind the 'bearing' or rubber piece for centering the rotoflex. I went back to the 'mechanic' and he said he used those to pull the old piece out. He forgot to call me when he remembered that he actually left it in there. Now I have to pull it again as he said there might be 2! Anyway, that is the reason the rotoflex did not properly seat agains the flange!

I sent the front off to get balanced and should get it back today. Thanks for your response.

Sounds like maybe you need to find a new mechanic.

He didn't even get the retaining rings set on the shaft I'm getting balanced. I guess its a good thing I had to pull it back out. I should have just done it myself but I thought anyone can do Ujoints...
