Default 95 Discovery o2 sensors

They are 3 wire, so i ordered a pair of generic 3wire sensors, they are not the same. I knew i was in trouble when i saw the 17mm head on the oem peice.

So, anyone have a part# for a generic correct sized o2 sensor? Ill have the correct bungs welded on before i spend 100$ each on them.

Why not just order the correct ones and be done with it? $115.

because it would be cheaper to change the o2 bung, esp if there is not a generic in the correct size

i was going to throw my inovate wideband in there and emulate the NB signal and see whats going on, but it is the larger size

How much did you pay for the genaric ones? $60 each? And then mess with changing the bungs for how much?

20$ for both new old stock, the bungs are 30$ for both, so i am 30$ away from having them in now

also, my innovate wideband fits the std bung, so i will be able to log the afr, and emulate the NB sig to the ecu to see if there is still a problem

I still same just use the correct ones and be done with it. But hey, if you are having fun and after all it is your truck, go ahead and do what you want.

On D1's there are a coulpe of different 02 sensors, depending on your vinn. Call or go on line, with your vinn to Rover Connection to see which one can be used for your truck.

Mike, he already put in O2's for a Defender which he should be ok with but then he also used Nissan O2's.
I agree with you though, use what is recommended not just what will fit.
