Default discovery o2 sensors

Just got a '98 disco for my daughter. 1 owner, 84k miles. Starts, runs great. However, the previous owner simply cut off the wires from the front O2 sensors. Rear ones are intact.

Am replacing them but, cannot find the wires/plugs for the sensors anywhere.
Where can they be hidden???

Throws 1 code (P1185) for O2 sensor heater.

Thanks for your help

RAVE manual in my sig has all you will need. It is like a Haynes manual, only has everything...

You can swap the fronts and rears as they are the same on a DI and leave the rears non functioning as the rear O2's do nothing except tell the ecu that the cats are working or not.

Spike, was totally unaware of that piece of info.

JK, you got one lucky daughter, hope she appreciates it. That is really low miles on her new Disco.

don't know if you found them yet but middle of the firewall, behind the engine, straigth down sitting on top of the tranny bell housing there is a harness and the front connectors are respectively on each side of that harness (and they both run up into that harness)

And those plugs are a PIA to get to unless you have really tiny hands
