Default '95 Discovery questions

I just purchased a '95 discovery with a few minor issues. Here they are. Please help this new new member if you can!

1. Rear cargo dor will not unlock automaticaly. I have to crawl back to pull up on the ****. It locks fine. When I pull up on it, it doesen't seem to be pulling on anything, there seems to be no resistance. The outer handle works fine.

2. Both of the sun roofs will not open!!

3. While sitting at a light I can feel a slight miss. The tach does not drop. I have changed the wires and the plugs. The distributor looks fine.

1. most likely the metal rod came off the unlock mechanism

2. check the Window Control Unit (behind glove box) for a bad point...if its not that probably bad motors (mine has this problem)

3. could be any number of things, possibly mixed up spark plug wires

When dissassembling the back to get the lock make sure you pull off the sub-woofer part properly, it needs to be disassembled a bit first. I had a similar problem with the reat door where I had to hold up the lock and unlatch it together. The overcenter mechanism was bad and I found a used mechanism on ebay for $35 that took care of the problem. Hope this helps...
