What oil do I use in a manual transmission and transfer case? Can't find it in the manual.

 

The manual says ATF in the main gearbox, but L/R released a TSB (apparently everywhere but the US) saying to use manual transmission fluid. I use Redline MTL.
For the transfer case, use 90w or 85w140 gear lube.

 

Thanks! I have found there are quite a few bulletins they haven't released in the US. Thankfully there is this forum to share information. I recently had a starting problem and the computer had to be re-flashed with Rover book. I never would have figured it out but someone on here had the information and passed it along. So it only cost me $100 bucks to have the dealer flash it because I went in with the bulletin so there wasn't a bunch of money wasted on labor for chasing it down. Thanks again!
