Default 98' 300tdi disco squeal

bought myself a 98' disco1 300tdi last week and also have the all so famous squeal. I have been searching for threads myself but dont really seem to find one that adresses my squeal....

Engine has gone 118500 miles and water pump has been changed not to long ago.

The squeal comes up immediatley when u start the engine and has always the same rythum in it. no matter if u gas or not it always sounds the same.

I was mostly wondering what to change first, i read a few threads where people recommended wd40 on the bearings however wd40 close to belts doesnt seem to go together for me.

I got a new belt at home so i was thinking of changing that one first and see where it goes, however if anybody had the same problem i would appreciate any answer.

If you have never changed out your tensioner and or idler pulleys, I would do it along with a belt. Rovers are know to have these parts fail and get noisy.

Turn the tensioner bolt clockwise to loosen it up and then just take the belt off? whats the torque for retitening it? can it put to much pressure on the belt?
