Default Brake Squeal

Put new Mintex pads on all around.

They're usually quiet - but...

Once you heat them up, ie lots of slowing down and turning in neighborhoods, they will squeal.

Any secret tricks? - I tried my ancient chinese formula (silicone on the back of the pads) but that didn't work.

They are known to make noise. How glazed up are your rotors? Did you bleed the brakes after the brake job?
If it were mine I would rough up the rotor surface, clean them well and try some more brake sound deadening material.

I did rough up the rotor surface, and I changed to synthetic fluid - bleeding twice to be sure.

Any deadening material your favorite?

I would take the truck over to the shop you bought the pads from and tell them you want to replace them cause they are noisey. Unfortunatly they are somewhat known to be noisey.

Okay - Thanks.

Reminds me of a 1982 Mercedes I had - you just have to live with the brake noise.
